BrewDog to file for insolvency in Germany

Germany | While the sale to Tilray, announced on 2 March, will preserve the BrewDog brand – at least for now –, the German subsidiary is planning to file for insolvency, media reported the same day. The impending liquidation affects the bar in Berlin-Mitte and the brewery in Berlin-Mariendorf, as well as the Reeperbahn pub in Hamburg. Three other bars, which were operated by a franchisee, with locations in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt/Main and Berlin-Friedrichshain, have already been closed.
