Fruit Up® from WILD - Natural fruit sweetener with lowest GI

With Fruit Up®, Wild offers the optimum sweetener for beverages with natural ingredients.

Through its balanced range of sugar types, the natural fruit sweetener provides additional carbohydrates for both fast and long-lasting energy supply. For this reason, it is suitable as an ingredient in „sustainable energy“ concepts.

Furthermore, Fruit Up® has a particularly low glycemic index of 34 - the lowest index compared to other natural fruit sweeteners.

Fruit Up® is a mixture of clear concentrates that are entirely produced from fruit, such as apples, pears, grapes, oranges and lemons. Unlike fruit concentrates produced from a single fruit, mixing different fruit concentrates balances out variations in the raw materials and achieves consistent product quality as the level of sweetening remains the same.

A winning range of sugars

With a wide range of sugars containing a balanced ratio of the carbohydrates fructose, glucose and sucrose in the fruit concentrate, Fruit Up® has a glycemic index of 34 (source: study by the Institute for Biological and Molecular Sciences at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK). The advantage: some of the energy is available immediately, while the body also receives energy on a more sustained basis.

Natural sweetness with a full-bodied taste

Fruit Up® is ideal for products that consumers perceive as natural and part of a balanced diet, it also gives less sweet products a full-bodied taste and is particularly suitable for use in sports drinks, near-water drinks, herbal or tea drinks with all-natural ingredients or drinks with a low glycemic index.

Wild creates advantages

Wild produces Fruit Up® from various fruits in a purely physical process, without the use of any enzymes or chemical additives. In the final beverage product, the fruit concentrates are colorless and have no flavor, do not create any cloudiness and are water-soluble with a high level of stability.

The intensity of the

sweetness and the calorie content of Fruit Up® are similar to those of crystalline sugar. With the high Brix value of up to 82°, the sweeteners from Wild have a good shelf life. On request, Fruit Up® can be incorporated into the relevant base products to alleviate further processing by the customer. Sensory tests have shown that Fruit Up® tastes better than sweetener made from a mono-fruit concentrate and creates a better mouth-feel. Products sweetened with Fruit Up® can carry the claims „from fruit extracts“ or „sweetened with fruit“.
