Jürgen Klopp to become Warsteiner Beer Ambassador

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has signed a four-year contract to become an ambassador for the German beer brand Warsteiner.

The former Dortmund manager says his love of beer was the main reason behind him entering into the partnership to promote the brand’s non-alcoholic variety.

“I am particularly pleased about this partnership because I associate with a tasty Warsteiner also a piece of home,” he was quoted as saying. His grandparents owned a small brewery, Warsteiner said in its press release dated 15 January 2016.

Warsteiner Pils ranked 7th among German beer brands in 2015.
