New Head of Sales for Western Europe

Since July 1, 2018, Markus Gerner has been strengthening the team of Ziemann Holvrieka GmbH, Ludwigsburg, as Head of Sales Western Europe. “In addition to his professional qualifications, Markus Gerner has many years of practical and sales experience in the European brewing, beverage, food and dairy industry, which makes him the ideal contact person for our customers”, explained Florian Schneider, the company’s Head of Sales EMEA.

Markus Gerner is a trained brewer and maltster. After one year working as a journeyman in a German brewery, he went on studying at Weihenstephan where he graduated as engineer in food technology with a focus on brewing technology in 2000. Before changing to Ziemann Holvrieka this summer, he gained experience in installation and commissioning of a brewery in North Africa, as project engineer in the dairy sector, in the sales of filling and packaging machines and as global key account manager for automation solutions for the food industry. He will support the customers in Western Europe from the headquarters in Ludwigsburg. The focus will be on the company’s process technology portfolio.
