Drought not bad news for all

Drought-induced restrictions on the Australian wine industry were of benefit, the head of the world’s biggest winemaker announced.

Seems like there are always two sides to a story. Robert Sands, CEO of Constellation Brands - parent of the Hardy Wine Co - reported a 9.2 percent increase in second-quarter profit and said “that he was pleased to see that the bulk wine market had begun to dry up.” Constellation’s Australian wine company Hardy’s are focussing on long-term strategies to build quality and value growth and have been through a full internal review.
