Does size matter?

Yet another bottle size came on the Australian market in November when Diageo introduced a 640mL ‘long neck’ bottle for Bundaberg Rum & Cola.

There is significant growth in the long neck category for beer and RTDs, adding to the proliferation of packaging containers on the Australian market, writes John Harvey from Adelaide.

At the other end of the scale, in London wine bars and other retailers have been prevented from offering tastes of expensive wines in 25mL glasses, as legally a wine glass must contain either 125 or 175mL. Serving only 25mL is illegal.
