World-first technology for energy drink

Manufacturer Bayer says that the Berocca Performance tablet contains Vitamin B complex to help the body release energy from food; Vitamin C to support a healthy immune system; Magnesium, which combined with B vitamins helps release energy from food and keeps the nervous system and muscles working properly, plus Zinc.

Berocca Performance has been clinically trialled and demonstrated to improve concentration and reduce tiredness, according to Bayer. Unlike other stimulant or vitamin drinks, Berocca Performance is said to contain no additives like sugar, caffeine or artificial stimulants.

Hard to believe, but the manufacturer claims it has taken Australian designers more than ten years to develop and produce the technology behind the unique Berocca Twist N Go cap technology.

“While it looks quite simple, the innovation in the packaging is in the lid. World-first equipment has been used to freshly seal the Berocca tablet in foil and store it in the lid. The cap uses a device to cut the foil which releases the tablet into purified water. It’s important to note that vitamins degrade very quickly once dissolved in water. That’s why the Berocca tablet is kept separate from the water, to ensure you get the most out of your vitamins”, the press release says.
