13th Iberoamerican VLB Symposium 2023

Practical approach | Since 2008, VLB Berlin organizes this technical conference, especially focused on the Iberoamerican beer sector. The 13th Iberoamerican VLB Symposium Brewing & Filling Technology (IBS) 2023 will take place on this occasion in Bogotá, Colombia at Hotel Cosmos 100 from September 4 to September 6, 2023. The symposium will be held in English and/or Spanish with simultaneous translation.

In five sessions, following topics will be presented and discussed:

• Session 1, Raw materials and its influence on the brewing process
• Session 2, Brewhouse: Innovations and process aspect to consider
• Session 3, Fermentation and maturation, yeast managemen
• Session 4, Beer filtration & related processes
• Session 5, Project Management, process control and digitalization in the brewing industry

The accompanying programme includes technical visits to the Cervecería Bavaria in Tocancipá and the Central Cervecera de Colombia in Sesquilé on Monday, September 4. On Tuesday, September 5, Ziemann Holvrieka invites you to a “Come together” at the Brewery “3 Cordilleras”.
