EBC Symposium 2021: Call for abstracts now open

Brewing it Differently | The EBC Symposium, originally scheduled for this year, has been postponed to 18-20 April 2021. The call for abstracts is now open and available on the EBC Symposium website. Only abstracts submitted via the abstract submission tool will be considered. The deadline for submitting abstracts is Sunday, 17 January 2021.

The main topic of the symposium will be "Brewing it Differently – under Difficult Circumstances". The pandemic has had an enormous influence on consumption patterns of beer which has affected the whole supply chain. Delays of production processes in both breweries and malting plants have disrupted regular scheduling; in the case of procurement, the freshness of raw materials and shelf-life of product may have given cause for concern.
