SEA Brew 2020 looks to the future, and moves north

SEA Brew 2020 | Now in its sixth year, the SEA Brew Conference and Trade Fair heads north to Taipei, Taiwan for the first time, where it will take place from 29 to 30 October 2020 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

With the theme “Brew for today, build for tomorrow”, this year’s programme expands its focus from brewing quality beer to how to also capitalize on the growing market for craft and premium beer in Asia.

“With recent research showing double – and in some cases triple – digit growth in sales of craft beer expected for the region, it’s no wonder the demand for such an event is increasing” explains Charles Guerrier, SEA Brew’s founder.

Bringing together brewers, owners, distributors and industry suppliers from across Asia, SEA Brew is widely celebrated as the number one annual gathering for craft brewers in the region. “Over the years you see familiar faces coming back to meet industry peers and like-minded people, to exchange ideas and experiences, as well as benchmark with the very best.” explains Charles.

The development of the accompanying Trade Fair sees the floorspace increase to over 2000sqm, allowing for more than 70 booths along with 3 dedicated zones to enhance both learning opportunities and all-important networking. Key features will be the expanded Demonstration Area and 'Sensation Zones' and the accompanying schedule of talks and samplings, providing leading-edge suppliers a platform to demonstrate their offering where the conference breaks will be staged, ensuring a captive audience.

Commenting on the developments for this year’s event "In such a geographically diverse region, SEA Brew provides the best opportunity for current and potential partners to meet. The conference and trade fair attracts delegates from all across Asia, Australasia, as well as Europe and the USA."
