Siebel Institute’s TwinTrack Brewing Microbiology Course

For those working in a laboratory, using conventional plating and microscopy, the Essential Brewing Microbiology Track is the right choice, offering two weeks of instruction in the bedrock principles of brewing laboratory operations.

If you already have a background in traditional laboratory practice, the Advanced Brewing Microbiology Track provides training in new laboratory analytical technologies, including rapid analysis of spoilage organisms, yeast DNA fingerprinting and other areas of importance to today’s growing breweries.

The Siebel Institute of Technology TwinTrack Brewing Microbiology Programme is conducted at the Siebel Institute Microbiological Services division in Montreal, Canada. Siebel’s Microbiological Services division is located at the National Research Council Biotechnology Research Institute, one of the world’s leading yeast and genetic research facilities. Students will be in the company of research professionals using state-of-the-art equipment, creating an environment that is unique to brewing education.

When not on campus, students will be able to enjoy all that Montreal has to offer.
