Pianeta Birra 2008
Blonde, red, sparking, hot, natural… the 10th annual Pianeta Birra Beverage & Co. International Exhibition of Beer, Beverages, Snacks, Furnishing and Fittings for Pubs & Pizza Parlours will be held in Rimini from 23 to 26 February 2008.
The organiser of Pianeta Birra in a recent press release claims that the largest European expo event dedicated to the beverage trade has an ideal setting at Rimini’s exhibition centre. Italy’s eating-out sector is performing buoyantly. In 2006 - according to a survey carried out by Nomisma on behalf of Rimini Fiera – the turnover of the eating out sector exceeded the equivalent of EUR 60 billion. This is 30 percent of the Italians’ food and beverage consumption and a 4.9 percent rise on the previous year.
Pianeta Birra 2008 will occupy the entire west wing of the Rimini expo centre.
This will be the location of the event’s eight traditional thematic areas: Le birre (beer), Disseta (fruit juices and cordials), Le acque (mineral water), Gocce di vite (spirits & wines), Espresso & Hot Drinks, Snack Pub, BereBio (organic beverages) and Equipment.
As in previous years, Pianeta Birra Beverage & Co will be held in three large macro areas: two in the expo centre itself and one outside, in order to widen the interaction between companies and consumers.
