The lady is not for turning

Albert Cramer’s youngest daughter, Christina Cramer, has joined the board of Warsteiner Brewery, igniting a storm of speculation why the flamboyant Managing Director, Prof Dr Gustavo Möller-Hergt, decided to chuck it all in and leave the company.

In a move that surprised everybody in the German brewing industry, Warsteiner Group has refocused its strategy and reorganised its management. Together with her father, Christina Cramer will be Managing Director of Warsteiner Group which consists of more than 120 national and international companies.

Two former Warsteiner employees were invited to join the ‘team-oriented’ management board: Stephan Fahrig, 42, will be in charge of finance, IT, and administration, while Peter Himmelsbach, 48, will look after technical matters.

Prof. Dr. Gustavo Möller-Hergt, who has been with Warsteiner Group for 15 years, has already left the company, probably to spend more time at the VLB in Berlin where he holds a professorship.
