New record at Ziemann+Bauer
This is amazing progress. The figure of the previous year already set a new record: in 2006, some 7,000 tons of stainless steel were processed in Bürgstadt am Main.
A large share of the stainless steel processing is involved in what is currently the most extensive project in the history of the Ziemann Group - the construction of the world’s biggest brewery in Piedras Negras/Mexico, which is being developed as a joint project of Ziemann and Grupo Modelo. In Bürgstadt, a stainless steel lauter tun has also been manufactured for this brewery, which measuring 15.20 m in diameter is the largest ever to have been built!
Bürgstadt is the main manufacturing site of the Ziemann Group for brewing vessels and tanks, where there are absolutely ideal conditions for a highly efficient line production of state-of-the-art stainless steel vessels and, most importantly, large-volume, cylindro-conical fermentation and storage tanks. This is where Ziemann+Bauer has operated one of the world’s most modern and largest uncoiling plant for years now.
This rise in the amount of processed stainless steel has also meant a substantial increase on the logistics side. Because of this, the Ziemann Group will be enlarging its main production site this year with the construction of an extra hall. The new facility will accommodate the logistics department as well as stainless steel storage space.
