A good first half 2008/09
To the financial markets, however, growth rates that are below last year’s are disappointing. That’s why, following Pernod Ricard’s announcement, JPMorgan issued a “neutral” rating for Pernod Ricard.
Societé Générale suggested investors to short Pernod Ricard, saying that the spirits industry overall was far from resilient to the crisis.
This begs the question: who is resilient to the crisis? And what are cautious investors supposed to do? Stuff their money under the mattress?
Pernod Ricard will release results for the first half 2008/2009 on 13 February 2009.
