2nd VLB Africa Brewing Conference also in a virtual format

Every crisis also contains an opportunity - With this statement, the VLB has implemented their online events over the past year. Due to current circumstances related to the pandemic, VLB has taken this opportunity and is launching, among other events, the 2nd Africa Brewing Conference (ABC), where participants from all over the world, but especially from the African continent, will attend at the virtual Campus of the VLB Berlin from 24 to 26 August 2021.

Twenty-two top-class lectures, Q&A sessions after each presentation and cultivated get-together possibilities via video chatrooms almost make you forget that the industry meeting is a purely digital one.

The Conference aims to share brewing knowledge, strength relationships and discuss the best practices for the brewing and malting industry in Africa. The ABC will bring together managers, brewers and leading technical staff from production, filling/packaging and quality assurance of breweries and malting companies. The conference will be held in English, with topics covering the full supply chain of beer production, including raw materials, process optimization, sustainability, brewing technology, application of enzymes, product development and quality aspects.
