EBC Congress 2019 in Antwerp

The 37th congress of the European Brewery Convention will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, from 2 to 6 June 2019.

 The EBC congress is one of the most important brewing technical events in Europe as well as across the globe. It appeals to researchers, technologists, scientists and other professionals involved in the fields of brewing, malting, beverage engineering and fermentation. The congress will be attended by about 500+ professionals, more than 55 presentations will be held and, once again, more than 120 technical posters have been accepted.

Among the topics to be covered are Sustainability and Climate Change, Yeast & Fermentation, Beer Styles (including non-alc. / low-alc. beer), Malt, Hops & Flavour, Wood & Beer as well as The concept of terroir in brewing materials.

The last day has been reserved for technical tours to breweries, maltings, supplier / brewing engineering companies.

In parallel, the Brewers of Europe Forum will take place from 3 to 4 June 2019 – providing the opportunity to learn and interact with hundreds brewers, brewery owners, equipment manufacturers, distributors, bar and retail owners, beer educators and aspiring brewers.
