Craft Beer Italy 2019: A preview of the exciting upcoming edition
Craft Beer Italy, conference and exhibition for raw materials, technologies, packaging and marketing for craft beer, member of the Beviale Family, will be finally back on 27th - 28th March 2019 in Milan.
The first edition of the event hit the target, offering the Italian market a new format which convinced all the actors of the craft-beer world and attracted visitors from 21 countries: the event is not a festival but the only Italian B2B event exclusively dedicated to craft beer production.
The upcoming edition promises to be even more exciting: visitors will enter a bigger exhibition area with almost 40% of the exhibitors from abroad, a broad product spectrum, a conference programme packed of highly technical presentations and many special areas.
As to the exhibitors, Germany will be the most represented foreign country, followed by the US, UK, France, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Canada and Belgium. The whole beer production chain and latest technologies will be represented starting with a wide selection of raw materials from different countries passing through the processing and packaging technologies, kegs, cans, closures, labelling opportunities up to the many companies offering the laboratory and diagnostics technologies and services that guarantee a higher beer quality and control.
The conference contents will be of interest to small as well as big and structured breweries and will be offered by VLB Berlin, Doemens, the branch association Unionbirrai, leader companies as well as national and international prominent speakers such as the Italian Craft Beer Guru Kuaska and Burke Dignam, American QA Manager of Trillium Brewery. Topics will range from yeast management to bottle and can conditioning, from neuromarketing tools to non-alcoholic beers as a mean to enhance profits, from cross-flow filtration to colloidal stability. The programme is continuously updated and available on the event website.
Visitors will also be attracted by the wide supporting programme. 4 Taste it! Area will give every visitor the chance to taste various craft beers guided by Doemens Beer Sommeliers and Unionbirrai Beer Tasters. On 27th March the hall will host the Finals of the Italian Championship of Doemens Beer Sommeliers; while on 28th March the winners of the first Best Craft Beer Label Contest will be announced and awarded during in the exhibition hall.
